Festival High details
Festival Highs is designed for drug and alcohol services, public health teams, youth services and festival welfare organisations to distribute to clients and festival-goers.
Compact and pocket-sized, the A6 format makes it practical to hand out at festival welfare tents, drug services and outreach settings.
Design that gets read
One of the biggest challenges in harm reduction is getting information into people's hands in a form they'll actually engage with. Festival Highs uses a bold, festival-style design with an illustrated cover that fits naturally into a festival environment. It looks like something worth picking up, not something to avoid.
What it covers
Written in plain English with a non-judgmental tone, Festival Highs gives readers clear, honest information on:
- mixing drugs and alcohol
- drug testing, including on-site testing services
- drug strength and going low and slow
- overheating and heatstroke
- synthetic opioids, fentanyl and nitazenes
- signs of overdose for both stimulants and depressants
- what to do if someone becomes ill, including the recovery position
- sex and consent
- drug driving
Recently updated to reflect the growing presence of fentanyl and nitazenes in the drug supply at UK festivals.
